“Eros is the main character of this exhibition that glides between carnality and ideal, between «voyeurism» , diaphanous hybris and ingenuous with an easiness that only great artists are capable of. Freewheeling but rational, playing within and with his own imagination, but representing an entire cultural history, in Erotikonia, Ioan Aurel Mureșan gives an answer, in his turn, to a question once asked by Nicolae Steinhardt: ‘What today’s man hungers for?
